Covers that Don't Offend: Best Coast Covers Fleetwood Mac
I sort of love/hate Best Coast. I find Bethany Cosentino to be polarizing…..I want to like her because her band is great and her music is fun. But. She is in the Zooey Deschanel category of annoying (Seriously can we all get over that terrible iPhone commercial? It’s the worst). She’s cute, fun and quirky and awkward girls like me are supposed to be able to appreciate that. But you can only sing about your cats, your boyfriend, the beach and getting high so much.
Fleetwood Mac however. I mean, they have Stevie Nicks. I don’t think I need to say anymore.
This is Best Coast covering Fleetwood Mac’s Rhiannon, a song I remember secretly enjoying as a kid forced to listen to the easy listening station in mom’s car.
